How meiosis relates to genetics?

Meiosis is related to genetics in so many ways, you can go look on google about its process, it basically is the reproduction of cells and only those cells in an organism. Meiosis also yields half of its chiromosomes to the daughter cell and half to the other cell. A pretty long process (to learn) in my words
