Native English Speakers, need your help!?

My area of activity is not limited exclusively by my academic interests. While studying at university, I was actively involved in various student activities and cultural events. I contributed to faculty life by planning and preparing exhibitions of students’ art works, annual “Museum Nights” and an Art Historians’ Day at the university’s gallery. I also joined sporting teams and repeatedly competed for my faculty in athletics and skiing. In my spare time I derive a great pleasure from drawing and oil painting in an art studio, and thus gained useful practical knowledge in the field of arts. Moreover, I am fond of creative and critical writing and during my studies I regularly wrote articles about local art events for the university newspaper.
