Culturally Curious™: Does the spiritual path you are currently on have an end or is it all about the journey?

My religion teaches reincarnation, but that's not the "goal." The goal is how you live your life, the "journey" as you put it. reincarnation simply explains what happens with the leftover soul bits when you die. It's not a punishment. It's not a reward. It simply is. Personally, I'm pretty dodgy on the whole reincarnation thing anyway.
