Is U.S.A media not been transparent and open to public about Iraq's Holocaust?

~~Unfortunately, Americans are only getting very filtered news. The land of the "free" has disappeared under the current administration. As an American citizen, I can only say how sorry I am for the horrible atrocities that have happened to these poor innocent people. All in the name of oil. It makes me so sad, and I know this country will hate us for many generations to come. I just hope they somehow understand most people in this country were against this awful war, and only a few were for it. We were lied to and misled about the whole "weapons of m destruction" story, so we were literally tricked into believing it should happen. I am proud to say, I never believed it and was against it from the beginning. It absolutely breaks my heart to know our government created this tragedy for the Iraqi people to suffer. But as to your question, yes the media has been morally wrong in not letting the public know about this horror. Then I wonder what threats they faced by the government here, for ever letting any of this information become public knowledge.~~
