USMC Statistic question?

This is a little bit confusing but i word try to word it as comprehensible as possible. I have to write an essay about United States Marine Corps and for a topic sentence i was going to use the statistics of how many people joined. Like for example 5 out of every 12 people join the Marine Corps this year. but i dont know the actual statistics or where to find them. please help(: thank you
