In Rock n Roll standards is Kanye West great?

many black hip hop critics always praise his albums as great but dont know if this is true or that they want to make their fellow african-american seem as terrible. in your opinion is he GREAT as in put him up against the Greats of Rock n Roll (beatles, stones, U2, zep n pink floyd)
