How can I tell how much propane is left in the BBQ tank as there is no gauge to see? Is there any special way to figure out when I need to refill the tank before it runs out?

Field trips for Preschoolers?? Aren't they too young to be going on a field trip outside of the school?

I saw on my son's list of things to bring on his first day of preschool, and one of those things were $5 for a school shirt to be worn when they go on field trips. Its about the size of my fist and looks scaly like a alligators skin, there are spot other littler spots on it that are a bit raised up and pinkish. The whole spot is pink while if I look closer to where her hair grows her skin smoothes out and is her normal skin color. My dog has also had issues lately with an ear infection in both ears and her equilibrium was off, still kind of is. Sadness for eternity....?

A week after my birthday, the only thing I got was a broken heart. My girlfriend of almost 3 years dumped me. She said it was because I didnt trust her, because when she would go hang out till 2AM with friends or go do other things I would ask questions out of curiosity like how was it, who was there, simple questions. If I did not trust her then why did I believe her stories? I thought its natural to be curious of what the love of your life does, to be interested. I did get jealous sometimes though, which I thought wasnt as bad as others reaction to things she does would be. She would talk on the phone with male co workers for hours, would ask what they talk about and simply get an answer "work." This was not a big issue I let it go after awhile. One weekend me and her had plans to go to her family cookout with 2 of our good friends, but shortly before the cookout she dropped all plans to go hang with a guy thats like a brother and she only sees him as a brother, he is married with kids. I was upset and she said she wants to go alone cause I was upset and didnt trust her, typical things. 1 of our friends went with her cause she was bored and they was planning to swim. She did not get home till 3AM, so out of curiosity I asked what they did, etc. She was tired exhausted and pissy so I stopped asking her and asked her friend because she was wide awake in talkative mood, Learned he was divorced also.... He calls her first thing in morning to see if she going to go hang with him and she wanted to hang with him alot cause she hasnt seen him in years apparently. Theres alot to it but basically she dumped me cause she said I didnt trust her an I get jealous. I felt it was somehow all my fault so i told her I would stop being curious and I did trust her but she said I wouldnt change. I took my car back because I needed it as much as her and she said that was my last chance at saving our relationship. She used me asking her friend questions a "last chance" excuse also. We talked alittle after and she said she will give me a chance after other guys get a chance..... I was fine with that but made the comment I wouldnt be upset as long as she didnt do anything ual with them and she responded bitchy 'it would just be another guy so why would it matter?' (shes had 7 partners, and she was my first.) I was nice and let her keep alot of things, even our bed and I been living with my parents sleeping on a small couch with a sheet. We had joint bank account and I didnt have a job at this time cause disabilities, I would tell her when her checks would be direct deposited and one morning she called me after telling me to not talk to her asking if I stole her money, said no just took my $30 out and she said ok, we talked and it seemed to go decent she said she will call me in a week. Later that day her boss called me haring me basically saying I call her to much at work and i stole all her money. She called me and kept losing connection and i was helping her out giving her info on stuff. Sent her a text asking why did he do that and did she have any part she said no, so I said I will report him to his boss for doing that to me and she said if I do that she will report me for haring her and get a restraining order on me and to never call text or anything. I learn shortly after that this "brother" of hers actually moved in with her and they started dating a day after she dumped me but she denied it even after one of her good friends texted her old phone thinking she still had it asking what her new man is like, she said her friend is retarded and on drugs. This has torn me up so much even after all this, the signs that she was probably planning to cheat on me with him if she didnt that night already. A week before she dumped me we talked about getting married on her vacation time and etc, which we discussed many times before but never had the stability or income cause we lived with my parents for awhile, she was jobless and going through a divource when we got together and I had a good job. At that time she only had alot of bills and a box of clothes. Now she has a very good job her own place etc and im the one with nothing but a bag of clothes, bills, jobless and a car that breaks down often. I do not understand, after all we have been through, endured, and all our good times how could she got over me and moved on a day after dumping me yet its been nearly 2 months and I still am so depressed and destroyed. Crying alot and wishing things can go back to how they were and maybe if I didnt ask questions or get jealous she may have not dumped me. 22 month old, normal or..?

My lil girl is 18mths and is actually the exact opposite in speech. She talks a little too good for mommy's taste. Anyhow, she has been talking really well for awhile now. I looked up signs of gifted children (sorry don't remember the site) and it said that lack of speech can also be a sign of gifted children. I personally wouldn't worry too much as long as he is still acheiving all his other milestones on time. I always go with the "trust your gut" advice though. He is YOUR child, if you truely feel there may be a problem go from there, but if it is just someone else's comment eating at you. I would just try your best to push the thought out of your head.

Problems with laptop screen?

have a guy friend who is involved in an affair with a married neighbor. He vanished for awhile and we have recently begun talking again. In a conversation of the other evening he told me that he deleted a s/n with over 300 friends on it (i new this already...makes me sad), and that he feels he doesnt' need any friends. Help! Bleeding down there...WHY?

Hi, I am eleven years old and have a pretty good health history and I don't get sick very often. I didn't p bowel movements for a week or so, and I told my mom. A day later I finally went just a tiny bit. It's been three days since I've ped a bowel. Finally, just now, I went. This is gross, but I couldn't go so I stuck toilet paper on my finger and put it up my . I took it out and there was a big amount of blood. I repeated the process and showed my mom. Then, I went a couple pebbles of bowel movement, and there was blood. She said she wasn't too concerned. I kept trying to go and it was painful. I don't think I got all my bowel out, but now my feels really swollen and it really hurts. It almost feels like it's "tight." There was also some dark mucus in my bowel. I didn't eat anything out of the ordinary. I looked at my on the inside in the mirror and there are three giant red swollen lumps inside. My mom said they are hemorrhoids and was puzzled because she never heard of a child getting one. She bought me some cream but i'm still on the toilet for hours and hours in bouts of pain. I have anxiety and don't feel comfortable with a doctor looking in there. What should I do? Could it be something other then a hemorrhoid? What could it be?

A little more detail on timing belt & water pump replacement.?

I took my 95 Mitsubishi Mirage 1.8L to get a simple timing belt & water pump put on. The guy ducked and dodged me for a whole week after it was supposed to be completed. He did have an ASE certification & decent shop. I finally caught up with him and he told me it would be ready the next day. When the day comes he calls me up saying that I have a cracked valve. Now I never gave him permission to do anything but to replace my timing belt and water pump. When I get to his shop my car is taken completely apart with at least 4 of the valve rods (between the spark plugs & piston heads) are broken, and one badly damaged piston head. Note that he claimed he never once started my car, but the new water pump was already installed. So could all of this damage be caused by someone starting a car while it is out of timing position. I have taken him to court, but they gave him until March 1st to finish. I'm a little skid-dish because I haven't heard back from him. I guess I'll just half to wait. Thanx for everyone(s) help.

The bullying from unattractive females.... It's basic defensive instincts due to a genetically superior rival (prettier lady) which causes them to feel of lower worth. Women hate being uglier and getting less attention than women B. It's primitive instincts digging in over competition for mates (men) and resources (jobs & pecking orders / popularity). It's also a sad and shallow fact, but in many jobs a woman's pecking order is relative to her outer beauty only (especially if men are hiring) It's so more evident in student and young persons jobs such as retail istant, public sector and such, that women way actually believe looks are all that matters in terms of their 'social value'.

I can only tell you my own experience. We always got mad at mom because no matter what we gave her she never read directions. A new TV remote, a radio, a new vacuum. Everyone is different but stretch marks are hereditary. Chances are if the women in your family have them, you will get them too, regardless of weight gain. However, the number and severity will be different depending on how you take care of yourself. I gained under 10 lbs and still got stretch marks. They're not nearly as bad as all my family members (some of them have them covering their entire belly), I only have eight. And they can start showing up at any time. Some girls get them in their first few months when they aren't even "showing" yet, and sometimes they don't show up until right near the end (giving you a false sense of security that you're not going to get them!). Keep your belly well lotioned and your weight in check and you'll probably get a few... but they're not as bad as you think. I look at them like my little badges of honour for a job well done!

In Show Jumping your goal is to get around the course as fast as possible without knocking any poles down. In Hunter Jumping you aren't as fast, and everything is about how you look. Your position, the horses position, what you where whether your horse is clean. Things like that. I prefer hunters, but Show Jumping is fun to watch.

Mystery Diagnosis-Post-Surgery?

I'm currently 2 months coming out of an anthroscopic ACL replacement (cadavor from an organ donor)-I am a 19 year old male and my pre surgery vitals were flawless-I'm athletic and in college-however, after surgery I began experiencing extreme cases of anxiety, this has made me drowzy, sleepy, moody but most of all anxious to the point were I get overly excited to wake up in the morning, I'm not much of a pill popper and never will be, but when I take a Xanax, I'm in heaven (and its a very small dose of .5 mg), my head only begins to have a right hemisphere pressure when I think about it or when I'm hungry (a possible sign of hypoglycemia). There is a slight possiblility of almost anything including pheochromacytoma, but I don't think xanax could silence an outburst of adrenaline, I recently had a 24 hr ysis of my blood pressure on a bad day and it came to be tensed systolically at over 130 80% of the time and over 140 61% of the time, but diastolic was perfect-any insights, thanks

Is 30 mins exercise a day really enough to lose weight?

I have just joined a 12 week challenge at my local gym, my goal is to shape up and hopefully lose around 10 kilos in this 12 weeks (from 67kgs to 57kgs..) The Personal trainer has told me I don't have to do anymore than 5 session a week with him for 30mins at a time.. This seems too easy? (the workouts are hard but only 30mins.. can I seriously expect to lose wieght doing this) he seems to think the 10 kilo's is achievable.. The Reason why I am skeptical is Because I already do 3 hours of kickboxing a week for the past 2 years and seem to have put on weight since doing this??(and it's not muscle unfortuantly) He checked my diet and said that it is fine and healthy.. just up the water intake.. and maybe make my dinners slightly smaller(only eat 3/4 of what I have now)... Powerbook G4 white screen of death, tried everything with no luck?

A few days ago my powerbook g4 powerpc with mac os 10.5 froze. I held the power on down to shutdown and then pressed again to turn it back on. However, since then all I get is a blank white screen. I've tried many of the suggestions littered around message boards such as reset the pram with no luck. Holding the shift on to start in safe-mode has no effect. Holding down the option key brings up a screen with 3 icons: a reload symbol, a symbol for my Macintosh HD and a right arrow symbol. Clicking on the right arrow just takes me back to the white screen of death. Holding down apple-s to enter single-user mode has no effect. I can't find the install cd that came with my powerbook, can any 10.5 install cd I get my hands on work? Just out of desperation I tried a 10.5 upgrade cd with no effect. Also, I haven't tried command-option-o-f to reset nvram. If neither of these 2 remaining options work, is my laptop done for? Also, seeing that symbol for my HD, does that mean my HD is ok and it's something else? I was hoping worst case I could take my HD out and place inside an enclosure and connect to another machine. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Texas Gas Price Question?

So I was helping a buddy move to Texas this past weekend and we noticed that gas is about 20 cents higher in Texas than it is here in Nebraska. I'm not even talking about the ethanol added gas (which I could understand), all gas was more. For me, this poem has two tones, first- a tone of sadness, and a sort of realization comes to him, so perhaps you could say depression. Where I work we have casual Fridays. Most people don't, and dress in suits, skirts and heels as usual. I suspected I had mice but wasn't sure until I found a little mouse nest inside an old welly boot. There were 6 dead baby mice in it but no sign of the mother. A question for Christians about the willfull ignorance of atheists?

Most of us Christians believe that these are the end times that we are living in because no other generation as we know it has fulfilled the end time prophecies like we have today. Even people that don't believe in God realise the world has gone crazy. But do you think atheists will only wake up when it's too late? When we talk about the end times to atheists they distort the scriptures and twist what Jesus was saying. They try to make out that Jesus predicted his return in the lifetime of his disciples. I know what scriptures they are referring to and they totally distort its true meaning. But it seems like people are becoming more aware that something big is about to happen. Even non-Christians are asking a lot of questions. People are also expecting a war in the middle east. The president in Iran believes that Israel has to be destroyed and he believes that he plays a part in end time prophecy. He believes that in order for the Mahdi to come there has to be a lot of bloodshed and war in the world. The Mahdi is the savior in Islam, but this will actually be the Antichrist. I have such a strong gut feeling that in the very near future there will be something much worse than 911 and maybe big natural disasters. And the spread of Islam to change the times and laws is getting more widespread. Will atheists only wake up when it's too late? God is trying to wake people up. But sadly atheists think that all this is just normal and we have nothing to worry about.

You should increase weight when your current workout becomes easy. Easy here means that you have consistently finished all sets with your weight. Always keep pushing your muscles to fail because that helps build muscle. but to answer your question more directly, when i have bulked up before, I was adding 5 pounds to my workout weight about every 1 and half or 2 weeks, just depends on your body type. If your getting back into shape it goes much faster also. Dont forget to do hit your tricepts, flys and inclines to help out

Which is better? Hill climbing or brisk walking?

I am 38 yrs old female, 75 kgs and 5"2. I used to walk for 45 minutes for 3 months but my weight remained the same. I reduced my food intake also to half during this period. Someone told me to climb the hill for fast weight loss.There is a hill shrine near our house with around 500 steps. Climbing up the hill with four short halts takes 35 munutes and the climbing down takes 10 minutes. On the whole (including walk from and to home) will take around 50 minutes. I have been doing it every day for the past 10 days. My legs and knees pained a lot initially but now the pain has decreased. Now please tell me. Is it a good exercise to loose weight? Is it good for my knees to climb up the hill everyday? If not what should I do to loose weight.
