Texas Gas Price Question?

So I was helping a buddy move to Texas this past weekend and we noticed that gas is about 20 cents higher in Texas than it is here in Nebraska. I'm not even talking about the ethanol added gas (which I could understand), all gas was more. Could someone explain why gas would be more in Texas, where there is much more oil production, then it would be in Nebraska?
